“I am an easy going, calm, empathic and non-judgmental person. After being a stay at home mum for many years I went back to work as a care assistant which gave me an insight into mental health and inspired me to want to help people to make their life easier. Whatever difference I can make, no matter how large or small, gives me great pleasure. ”

“My work history includes Ambulance Technician, Systems Analyst, and have spent the last 4 years working as an Outreach Support Worker; which I love as I really enjoy working with people out and about in the community and celebrating every goal we set ourselves. I really enjoy getting to know the people I work with and finding the best way to help them achieve their goals, in their own unique way. I am a relaxed, goal-oriented person who believes in the power of taking small steps. My hobbies include trying to grow food on my allotment, long walks in nature, films, science, nature, and spending time in the lovely Crocus Cafe. ”

“I am new to working within the mental health sector however I have a lot of life experience to share. I see myself as a fruit loop in a bowl full of cheerio’s, and any one who meets me soon realises how accurate this is. I am quite loud and in your face my hair changes colour like the weather. Although I have only been with the Real-Lives family for a very short time I know in my heart of hearts this is where I am meant to be and what I am meant to be doing.”
